LOS ANGELES (Thursday, May 13, 2021) – The LA Galaxy unveiled their 2021 Promotional Calendar today, beginning with Pride Night set for this Saturday, May 15 as they take on Austin FC at Dignity Health Sports Park at 12:30 p.m. PT. This marks the eighth-consecutive Pride Night for the LA Galaxy, one of the longest-running Pride Night celebrations in professional sports.
During Pride Night, the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park will feature various elements to celebrate inclusion, including using in-stadium, Pride content on GalaxyTV, Pride field painting, rainbow corner flags and rainbow nets. Pride Night will also feature various elements supporting the club’s partnership with the Los Angeles LGBT Center during the match, including a Center employee as the Hero of the Game, a dedicated Center suite, a dedicated fundraiser on the @lagalaxy Instagram page and a portion of ticket proceeds benefitting the Center, the world's largest LGBT organization.
Celina Graves, America’s Got Talent Season 15 semifinalist and Center supporter, will sing the National Anthem during the pregame ceremonies.
LA Galaxy players will be wearing special “Love Unites” warm-up shirts during pregame, available for purchase with all proceeds benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation to provide inclusive programming in the LA community.
