LOS ANGELES (Thursday, March 16, 2023) – The LA Galaxy today announced programming for the 2023 Home Opener against Vancouver Whitecaps FC, in a match presented by Southern California Volkswagen Dealers, at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday, March 18 (7:30 p.m. PT; MLS Season Pass, LA Galaxy English Radio, Spanish Radio: KWKW – 1330 AM).
WrestleMania 39 Coming To Los Angeles
WrestleMania 39 will be coming to SoFi Stadium on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2, and WWE will have a presence at the LA Galaxy’s 2023 Home Opener at Dignity Health Sports Park. The LA Galaxy collaborated with WWE on the Quasar Slam Tee and Crewneck, and the first 10,000 fans to enter Dignity Health Sports Park will receive an LA Galaxy x WrestleMania poster. The WWE Golden Title has been making its way all over the country in the buildup to WrestleMania and it will make an appearance at Dignity Health Sports Park. SoccerFest
Fans can enjoy music from DJ Los in a new location for this match: outside the north end of the stadium behind the berm. Inside the stadium, SoccerFest will be packed with the usual favorites: Star Squad, LA Galaxy Programming and the LA Galaxy Foundation. This season, SoccerFest will see the introduction of “Cozmo’s Cadets,”an interactive space for young fans to enjoy programming designed to bring them closer to the club and their favorite mascot. Fans can pick up a commemorative “My First Galaxy Game” certificate when they visit.The fan favorite pupusa truck will be back in action this season, with a portion of the proceeds from all sales benefitting AFJA’s youth soccer programs.
LA Galaxy Foundation
The LA Galaxy Foundation will have an auction in which fans can bid for the chance to win a framed and team-signed 2013 LA Galaxy away jersey. Fans can text GALAXY to 76278 to bid. Additionally, 2,000 limited edition matchday posters will be available for fans to purchase, with proceeds benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation.
Merchandise
The LA Kit and the LA Kit Hook Collection, which includes a selection of hoodies, shirts, hats, a crewneck, pin and scarf, are available for purchase in the LA Galaxy Team Store. The LA Kit Hook Collection is inspired by the LA Kit, which embraces the colors of the Los Angeles city flag. The Galaxy collaborated on a limited-edition collaboration with Rad Coffee on the Galaxy Ghoul Tee. The LA Galaxy Team Store is stocked with new collections for this season that includes fresh threads from The Wild Collective, Mitchell & Ness and adidas LA Galaxy team gear.
