CARSON, Calif. (Monday, June 13, 2016) – LA Galaxy II (5-2-7, 22 points) will get set for one of their longest road trips of the season this week before they head to Tulsa, Okla. to take on Tulsa Roughnecks FC (2-9-1, 7 points) on Friday, June 17 at ONEOK Stadium.
Tulsa Roughnecks FC, currently last place in the USL Western Conference, has allowed 28 goals in 12 games this season, the most in the USL. That won’t make them a good match for Los Dos, the team with the most goals scored in the USL (27).
Over the weekend, LA Galaxy II (5-2-7, 22 points) drew 0-0 with Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (7-2-2, 23 points) on Saturday night at the StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. It was Los Dos’ fourth shutout of the season and their third at StubHub Center. It was only the second time they’ve been shutout in 2016.
After the June 17th match, LA Galaxy II will face Roughnecks FC again the following week on June 24th at StubHub Center Track & Field Stadium. Back-to-back matches against the Western Conference’s worst side is an opportunity for Los Dos to get back to the top of the table; they currently sit fourth with 22 points behind Rio Grande Valley FC (22 points), Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC (23 points) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (25).
