VANCOUVER, B.C. -- The LA Galaxy will look for their first road win of 2016 when they take on Vancouver Whitecaps FC.

Below are a series of links, quotes, and matchups to get you ready for tonight's match.

The LA Galaxy lost both meetings to Vancouver last year and believe that they have the tools to flip the script this year

LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane will miss Saturday's match and is out four to six weeks due to right knee surgery.

The LA Galaxy will also be without Steven Gerrard due to a calf injury. Bruce Arena also confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Giovani dos Santos will miss out on Saturday's match.

MATCHUPS TO WATCH:
LA Galaxy offense vs. David Ousted

The LA Galaxy will look to get by the talented Danish goalkeeper without any of their three designated players and with striker Gyasi Zardes returning from international duty. Ousted held the Galaxy scoreless in both meetings last year.

Octavio Rivero vs. Jelle Van Damme

The Belgian central defender will have his hands full when he looks to shut down Vancouver's burly Uruguayan striker. Van Damme must be aware of Rivero in the box as the striker often uses his size to get to goal.

Nigel de Jong vs. Pedro Morales

Saturday's tilt will likely turn on the matchup between De Jong and Vancouver's playmaker. If De Jong is able to limit the Chilean midfielder's effectiveness, it'll greatly increase the Galaxy's chances of stealing points at BC Place.

WHAT THEY SAID:

"I heard the turf would be a little bumpy, but it's been the opposite. It's pretty soft. It's the best that I've stepped on as far as turf goes, and I'm looking forward to playing on it. It's better laid out, and the spacing is pretty good. It was good in training before the game, so we're ready."
