The LA Galaxy Player of the Month Award presented by Herbalife Nutrition features a four-man ballot for June, a month in which the Galaxy moved themselves into playoff position as they climbed up the Western Conference standings. Romain Alessandrini, Emmanuel Boateng, Ashley Cole and Jack McBean are all up for nomination.

Fans will be able to vote for the group of nominated players at LAGalaxy.com/POTM, where they can also enter the Herbalife Player of the Month Sweepstakes. June’s Herbalife Nutrition Player of the Month award winner will be announced on July 7, with fan voting closing on July 6.
Two-time LA Galaxy Player of the Month Award winnerRomain Alessandrini kept the Galaxy rolling in the month of June, recording two goals and one assist across four matches. Most notably, he ignited a 2-2 comeback draw against Houston Dynamo with a one-goal, one-assist performance. Two days later, he fooled legendary goalkeeper Tim Howard with this penalty kick.
Emmanuel Boateng is on the ballot again, excelling in each of his four starts for a injury-hobbled Galaxy in June. Boateng helped the Galaxy to a 1-1-2 record, and calmly put home this score that sent StubHub Center into a frenzy against Houston.
Jack McBean is up for nomination for the first time this season after a breakout month for the Galaxy. After notching the game-winning goal in the Galaxy’s U.S. Open Cup Fourth Round win, he scored two ridiculous goals (this one and this one) in LA’s 3-1 win over Colorado Rapids on June 21.
Ashley Cole also makes his debut on the ballot, after an impressive month as leader in the back for LA. He played every minute of every game in June while rallying an injured and young defensive line to a solid month in front of goal.
When a fan votes for a player online at LAGalaxy.com/POTM, they can enter to win the Herbalife Nutrition Player of the Month Sweepstakes. Each month, the sweepstakes winner will receive four VIP match tickets to a 2017 LA Galaxy home game. The winner and their three guests will also win a meet and greet with the LA Galaxy Player of the Month presented by Herbalife Nutrition at the LA Galaxy’s training grounds at StubHub Center.
The campaign for July’s LA Galaxy Player of the Month Award presented by Herbalife kicks off at 7:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, July 1 when the LA Galaxy are on the road for their second California Clásico of the season, taking on San Jose Earthquakes at Avaya Stadium.
