What to Do
Minneapolis is a city meant to be explored. Its nightlife is not to be missed. There is a reason why so many great ones like Prince, Dylan among others called this city home. Take in a show in the gritty 7th St. Entry or its world-famous First Avenue.
If you are looking for some yummy food and a nightlife atmosphere, make sure to visit Parlour, Cowboy Jacks or Nicollet Diner (open 24/7 for those late-night cravings).
For a bit more formal dining experience, visit Volstead’s Emporium (a candle-lit speakeasy tucked away in a nondescript alley off Lake Street) and Barbette (a romantic neighborhood brasserie decked out with candles and leather banquets).
Some of the cocktails in Minneapolis can be found at Tattersall (using house-made liquors, syrups and sodas is just the start of their creativity), Norseman Distillery (characterized by a beautiful, bright space, hand-crafted liquors and fun cocktails to keep your taste buds on their toes) and Cobble Social House (a trendy and up-and-coming lounge in the North Loop. It is an intimate spot for after dinner drinks).
