What to Do
Explore Downtown Vancouver during your visit. Part of the appeal of visiting is being able to spend a few hours walking through downtown and the surrounding areas to take in what downtown has to offer. Make sure to visit Coal Harbour where you can walk along the waterfront and enjoy views of Canada Place, Stanley Park, the North Shore mountains and catch the seaplanes fly in and out of the harbor.
Make sure to pay a visit to one of Vancouver’s prettiest and funkiest areas known as Gastown. The main street here is called Water Street and it is a beautiful, cobbled road lined with historic buildings. At night, it looks even better when it is lit up and full of people enjoying a night out at one of the many great bars in the area.
You can also enjoy time outdoors by visiting Vancouver’s local mountains (Grouse, Seymour, and Cypress Mountains) or cycling along the seawall around Stanley Park. Stanley Park is a peaceful oasis right in the heart of Vancouver.
